¶ Where to install
Lyosis implements a client/server model where:
- clients are users consuming the app throught their web browser
- a server is a machine the application wait for incomming connection to interact with clients.
Typically, Loysis is intended to be run on a server (recommended).
However, it is also possible to run it on your work sation. It is conveinient to test the sorftware with minimal effort. Keep then in mind that Lyosis will stop working for you and others if you shut it down or have not configured your firewall.
If you are running Lyosis on your work station, ensure its backups are properly functionnal. Data are more at risk there than on a server. (Can you see that coffee
cup near your laptop? )

For 100.000 patients with 10 simultaneous users.
- 4 CPU @ 2.500 MHz
- 6 GB RAM
- 200 GB HDD

The Lyosis application is be provided in the format of a Docker image. See our install-guide.
- Docker engine on linux (prefered, free)
- Alternatively, our application can run with Docker Desktop for Windows, Mac or Linux. (paid subscription may be required.)
